Why is Mind/Body Integration so very vital to success in your love life?

I have been a licensed massage therapist since 1994. The type of master level mind/body integration work I offer in my current work is far more powerful than anything I was able to offer when I was just a full time LMT.

My undeniable path to my current work is now clear as I look back at the common thread in all my many healing arts certifications and my university degrees. They were are all related to identifying blocks to wellness and enhancing a least restrictive function in life.

What I know, after all my years as a professional educator and healing arts practitioner, is when our mind/body neurological loop is clear, the uncluttered communication through every area of our being is swift and we move through life with greater ease. I want this for myself and everyone I touch in my life time.

Holding confident space in the therapy room allows me to provide what I deem they need for maximum integration.  I never cater to client requests as if some menu of services like a spa, if I did I would not be holding space to truly give them the gift of fully letting go. We must learn to let go in order to be whole as human beings.

Deep healing takes place through nurturing that opens us into trust, then we can let our mind quiet and our guard down. Learning to quiet the mind is the key to learning to receive as well as to hold space for another to relax in your good care.

If any of us ever hope to give to our fullest expression to our lives and lovers then we must master the art of receiving and total mind/body surrender. You can not show up in a suit of emotional armor and expect to create intimacy in any area of your life.

Additionally, the academic content I am supplying my clients has a very limited absorption if they are not whole mind and body and able to apply what I teach in real life moments. Hyper active Fight or Flight response will block learning and connection every time.

ALL my in-office sessions are mind AND body and all my Skype program cleints are required to find a local body-worker that is trained and gifted with emotional processing via mind/body integration.

Every new-client online prep contains information about mind/body integration so my clients can maximize the bodywork portion of the session. Education and support is what makes everything more beneficial.

What my clients are saying specifically about the mind/body integration portion of the session …

My first session with Michelle was last Thursday. During the session she asked me about some pain energy she read. She felt like I was holding an old emotional charge in my left collar bone but I could not remember a source.

Later after the session I kept wracking my brain to figure out what could have caused the charge. Finally, I decided to meditate on the spot and after I had settled down and quit obsessing I had a realization. I was amazed that she could feel something I was holding onto that I was completely oblivious to.

My realization was when I was about ten years old I was hit by a car and thrown. It was a hit run and I remember being so hurt emotionally that the physical pain didn’t even matter. I remember looking up and seeing that the car had left me and didn’t care and I felt like I was nothing to them. So I jumped up and chased the car crying and shaking my fist in the air. I gave up the chase right away and just fell to the ground. I don’t remember much after that.

Next I remember feeling the physical pain when I saw my Mom and the Doctor was examining my arm. My physical injuries were not substantial but until my realization I did not realize how emotionally injured I was. I was unaware of know how angry I felt that the driver abandoned me on the side of the road and that I have been holding onto that for almost thirty years so close to my heart.  – John

It’s so awesome when you start realizing the interconnection of it all!! Reminds me of session where my neck just wouldn’t go past a point. I was damn whiplash from accident over year earlier. Then Michelle commented on the intake session and I laughed and suddenly my neck became pliable like Mr Bill!! Then 5 min later same thing -with my hip!!! Realizing the trauma while real event, is no longer happening therfore perceived. … learning what your BODY not your mind tells you is so fucking awesome. As big as brain is, it’s small compared to rest of your nervous system.” – Keith

“With a few hot stones and her excellent skills in bodywork, Michelle took down the armor around my chest and cracked the wall I had built to protect my heart. With every tear I could let go of pieces that I was holding on and that were holding me back. I feel like space opening up for me, space that I can use to grow and to keep positive energy. I know there are more walls and layers of armor protecting trauma and memories – more space that I will be able to use in the future for myself and to build lasting and fulfilling relationships.” – Martin

The difference between what Michelle provides and a massage is like the difference between breaking up a pieces of marble with a sledge hammer taken to a piece of marble and what she offers is more like a discovering the sculpture that was already there using a hammer and fine artist chisel.” – Chad

I have been receiving mind/bodywork from Michelle on a monthly basis for the better part of a year now. The best way to describe the experience is that you are brought into a relaxed state where all of your senses are reset, calibrated and grounded to your personal core of self.

Once you get there you begin to understand what it means to be FULLY present in your body and you can begin to feel and experience everything you choose to focus your awareness on at a very pure level. The cumulative healing effects of regular master level, fully present bodywork cannot be understated, I feel that each time we work together I am able to access more and more of my inner self as a regular state.” – Rob

Michelle Terrell has been a health and wellness coach since 1995. In those years she collected data and the real life testimonials of thousands of good men who were feeling lost and confused in their love lives. Her workshop students dubbed her The Pistol Whip Hippie because her teaching/coaching style is irreverent, in your face and radically honest (the Pistol Whip part) with the follow up being supportive, nurturing awakened energy (the Hippie part) that inspires men to strive to be their very best.
